It’s Time to Go CoMo!

General Columbia

Welcome to Gotta Go CoMo! You may already know Columbia, Missouri as the ‘smart, innovative, artsy, eclectic, clever, savvy, vibrant’ city, the home of the University of Missouri and the setting for fantastic festivals throughout the year. What you might not know (and we’re so excited to tell you!) is that Columbia is an amazing place to visit all year!

You might be asking yourself who ‘we’ are. We’re the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau, a group of people passionate about visitors discovering all that Columbia has to offer.  We love sharing the experiences you can have at one of Columbia’s hallmark events or at one of its more hidden treasures. It’s a journey we’re on every day, and you’re invited along!

Here’s what you can expect. We’re lucky enough to live and work in Columbia every day, and there’s nothing we love more than sharing Columbia with you. Visit often for an inside look at what makes Columbia such a unique destination. You’ll be treated to fun stories, photos, event previews and recaps, recurring series and profiles of people who make Columbia tick.

Of course, we can’t forget about you! One of our favorite things to learn is what locals and visitors love about Columbia. We’re eager to hear what you want to know about, so comments, feedback and questions are always welcome.

As we head into winter, here are a few posts you can expect to see soon!

-Family Winter Activities

-Holiday Events

-The Quest for the Best Columbia Burger

-How to Festival: The True/False Film Festival
